Bass Family vs United Airlines viral post
If you don't know what I'm talking about, here is the video I saw which brought this to my attention.
Call me old fashioned, but I feel like this is why our youth are so disrespectful and entitled....
It seems like this new group of parents were coddled way too much and had someone do everything for them and get outraged when they are asked to do something.
My commenting is strictly to share ways this could easily be resolved and save headaches, stress, and drama for the future of anyone's patenting life.
If someone has a high risk pregnancy, maybe they shouldn't be flying or putting themselves in a stressful situation (like flying alone with 2 young kids). Maybe if they know their kid isn’tgoing to clean the mess, maybe be more resourceful and asked for a broom and dust pan, because they do exist on airplanes, I've seen them being used on multiple occasions.
Our kids were taught to clean up after themselves from a young age (around 2 or 3 years old) because I was taught to clean up after myself. I think this is a good thing and part of being a decent human being. So I see no issue in anyone asking a parent to clean up if their kid doesn't or won't.
As someone who has traveled on several international and domestic flights alone with our kids, as well as traveling pregnant, I feel that I am more than qualified to share these parenting travel hacks 🤪
If this family doesn't like the negative backlash coming from this post going viral, then maybe he shouldn't have put it on the internet for all to see 🤷🏼♀️ I have no clue who these Bass people are or who the sister of the pregnant woman is and why she felt like getting involved too.
As always, I am an open person who is willing to listen to the other side of the story if you think this is an outrageous and agree with the Bass family, I'd love to hear your thoughts, cause I don't get it.
