Men, Stress, and the Path to Resilience

I’m deeply grateful to Bahrain This Month for featuring my article in their November 2025 issue on men’s health. Not because I needed visibility, but because this topic needs a voice. Men are carrying more than anyone sees and most of them are carrying it in silence.

Men Don’t Say “I’m Not Okay”

Most men don’t reach out and say “I’m struggling.” You say:

  • My sleep is off.

  • My mind won’t switch off.

  • I’m always on edge.

  • I’m more reactive than I used to be.

  • I don’t feel like myself anymore.

None of these are weakness, they are clear signs your nervous system stuck in survival mode. High responsibility. High pressure. Provider stress. Leadership stress. Reputation. Money. Family. Work. The body can’t live in that mode forever.

Eventually, the system starts collecting payment: through insomnia, anger, anxiety, fatigue, weight gain, high blood pressure, low libido, brain fog, and burnout. What I do isn’t therapy or emotional sharing.

It’s not talking in circles or “soft wellness.” We got directly into performance recovery. It’s a private space where you can recalibrate the system that runs everything: your sleep, focus, mood, and ability to handle pressure without snapping.

Honestly, I never realized the amount of pressure men silently carried until I was at an event in Ras Al Khaimah and worked with several men. What I saw, I can not unsee. It hit me so deep in my soul, I knew I had to create a space for men in my work. They have quietly carried the pressure and burdens long enough and it is impacting their health in a negative way.
